How do you tell an engaging story that provides an interactive, immersive audience experience?
What are the difficulties, challenges and opportunities that creative practitioners face when working on interactive storytelling?
At the 2018 Wellington Screen Edge Forum we will discover the world of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality and other interactive storytelling platforms through talks, presentations and showcases with leading digital storytelling practitioners.
The day’s programme is designed to give screen industry professionals the opportunity to upskill in digital storytelling, discover unique insights into how to create New Media content and how to translate stories onto digital platforms.
The Screen Edge Forum will conclude with networking drinks at the Roxy Cinema.

Grumpy Sailor is an agile, creative laboratory experimenting with digital technology and storytelling. They use a prototyping methodology as the foundation of all their projects. Grumpy Sailor’s collaborators include Google, The State Library, The Sydney Opera House and Bell Shakespeare. Recent projects include interactive digital theatre work, Ghosts, Toasts and the Things Unsaid (Google, Sandpit) and interactive web platform, Loom (DX Lab, State Library of NSW).
